GRADES: Grades of S, I or U will be given to all K-2 students and S, N or U to 3-5 students. Grades will be determined by teacher assessment of students' music skills in addition to their participation and attitude shown during class. Assessments may include teacher observation, group projects and student performance. A pre- and post-test will be given in September and May to measure student growth. County-wide assessments are being designed by all general music teachers to be administered this year.
1st Quarter Objectives
Kindergarten
1. Use correct posture, pitch, and technique when singing and playing instruments. (S)
